Brighton Beach Boxes, Moonlit Sanctuary & Phillip Island tour

We begin by driving along a pretty seaside road close to the bay of Melbourne and head to Saint Kilda, a well known Melbourne suburb which is very popular in summertime as a beach resort. We stop in front of the iconic Luna Park amusement park, which has a very interesting and photogenic entrance, and visit Acland Street, famous for its delicious cake shops. You will have free time to wander and explore (and buy a slice of cake!). Then we move on to the Brighton Beach Boxes, a colourful row of small wooden houses on a picturesque beach which is a very popular photographic location. You will have some more free time here, and then we will visit the Moonlit Sanctuary. This award winning wildlife sanctuary has a lot of space where rare and endangered Australian animals and birds can wander around. There are many species of wallabies and kangaroos. You can hand feed them and take photos together with these uniquely Australian animals.  Phillip island has some beautiful empty and unspoilt beaches where we will stop for photo opportunities. We visit the town of Cowes where you will have time for dinner (dinner is not included in the price of the tour. During the winter months we will not be visiting Cowes for dinner before viewing the Penguin Parade, because the penguins arrive back early compared to summer). Then we visit The Nobbies, a natural reserve at the end of Phillip island. There is a fur seal colony offshore, and if we are lucky we may be able to see baby penguins during the nesting season. There is spectacular natural scenery as well as wild wallabies here. Finally, we head to the Penguin Parade to watch the smallest and the cutest penguins in the world come waddling back home to their nests. Watching them walk is a memory which is guaranteed to last for a lifetime!  It takes around 2 hours to return from the Penguin Parade back to the city.

At Scene-A-Roo we take pride in our good service and attention to detail (we offer Japanese style customer service), and we are always happy to take many photos of you at all of the beautiful locations which we visit. We offer a friendly, flexible and informative small group tour experience, and we guarantee that you will have many happy memories to last for many years!

There is a Penguin Parade App with a lot of interesting information which can be translated into Japanese and Spanish, and also into Chinese, Korean and German. We suggest that you download it before you join the tour. The cost of the tour includes entry into Maru Koala and Wildlife park as well as the Penguin Parade.
